PM-1000
Direct Download Station
CONTROL ROOM BASED download station used to read RFiD tags into the system, initialise readers and collect patrol data from readers directly onto the PC. Data is transferred wirelessly between the reader and the PM-1000 station – there are NO contacts to fail or break.

The PM-1000 is compatible with the following readers:-

  • Proxi-Mate Blue
  • Proxi-Mate Silver/Black

PM-6000 & PM-3300
TCP/IP and GPRS Download Stations
Remotely upload patrol data instantly via the Internet/Intranet OR via GPRS. Our PM-6000 TCP/IP and PM-3300 GPRS Download Stations are simplicity itself to use. All that's required for the PM-6000 is an ADSL/Broadband enabled Ethernet connection while the PM-3300 requires a GPRS- enabled, data-only SIM card (Pay-As-You Go acceptable but NOT recommended). No modems, analogue telephone line or fuss and, when using our PM-6000, ZERO data transmission costs!!

Each PM-6000 Download Station has its own MAC ID and may be programmed with a fixed IP address OR can use DHCP. The host IP address and port number are embedded into the PM-6000 and data is transferred automatically to the host PC when a reader is placed on the cradle. In the event that data cannot be uploaded to the host PC, the PM-6000 can internally buffer 49,713 RFiD reads and will automatically upload all data when a connection becomes available.

The PM-3300 Download Station does not use a fixed IP address because it can be used ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD where GPRS coverage is available. As with the PM-6000, the host IP address is embedded into the PM-3300 and data is transferred automatically to the host PC via GPRS when a reader is placed on the cradle.

The PM-3300 works either under external power or via its internal rechargeable battery and, in the event that data cannot be uploaded to the host PC, the PM-3300 can internally buffer 49,713 RFiD reads. Data will automatically upload when GPRS coverage becomes available if being used under external power.

When under battery power, the PM-3300 turns off automatically when data transfer is complete. If data cannot be transferred for any reason (no GPRS coverage, no credit available when using a PAYG SIM etc), the PM-3300 turns off automatically after making multiple transmission attempts to conserve battery life.

In addition to the LED status explanation shown to the right, both the PM-6000 and PM-3300 use audible tones to indicate their current state.

Selected tones indicate:-
  • The reader currently placed on the station is being downloaded, that the download is complete or that the reader may be removed from the station
  • The station is functioning correctly
  • The station has begun to upload data to the host pc
  • The station has successfully uploaded all data
  • That an error has occurred

PM-6000 and PM-3300 Download Stations are compatible with the following readers:-
  • Proxi-Mate Blue
  • Proxi-Mate Black/Silver
  • Proxi-Mate Black/Silver-W
