- Mode 1:
Flashlight only with LED’s permanently fully on. Effective lighting distance is up to 50 metres
- Mode 2:
Light sensitive image transmission mode – LED’s automatically switch on and light intensity increases as insufficient ambient light is detected by camera. In Mode 2, images are transmitted wirelessly to a receiver and may be viewed in REAL-TIME via a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) as standard OR optionally to a PC if required (subject to distance and site limitations). Images may also be recorded onto SD card as standard OR optionally to PC if required. Transmitting distance from flashlight to PVR is typically between 250m and 500m in open space. For vertical space, 2-3 floors is realistic but is site dependent

PVR SPECIFICATION:
- The PVR system incorporates a 2.5” TFT LCD screen and is supplied with a 1gb SD card as standard. High-quality video images are stored in MP-4 format, 1gb of memory being adequate to record continually for around 120 minutes
- The PVR system incorporates rechargeable Ni-MH batteries which provide power for approximately 150 minutes of continual use between charges. It is light-weight, fully portable and is supplied in a woven nylon carrying case with belt attachment loop. A shoulder strap is also supplied as standard.

The image to the right shows the PVR system with woven nylon carry case. The PVR itself is powered by a rechargeable battery/receiver stored inside the carry case which is recharged without removal from the carry case. The flexible signal antenna (attached to the battery/receiver unit) can clearly be seen emerging from the carry case and may be positioned as required to improve reception.
The PVR itself fits inside the clear plastic pouch attached to the front of the carry case (removed here for demonstration purposes). The controls on the unit are operated through the plastic pouch and the SD card can be removed without removing the PVR itself from the pouch. |
