GUARDIAN Patrol Software

For further details please call 020-8472 4157.

GUARDIAN has been designed and based on feedback received from clients over many years and incorporates advanced features not normally found in guard patrol software. The concept was to provide a versatile, flexible and easy to use software package with fast, comprehensive reporting and easy set-up facility.

Designed with expansion in mind, GUARDIAN can be supplied either in single user, non-networkable form or as a fully networkable multi-user client/server application. An upgrade path is available from single user to network version as and when required.

GUARDIAN is not restricted to any one type of reader or download station in our range and can simultaneously communicate with our Proxi-Mate LIVE real-time GPRS readers, PM-3300 GPRS download stations, PM-6000 TCP/IP download stations plus the more basic PM-1000 and PM-2000 download stations.

Checkpoints, Guards and Incidents tags are simple to create, edit and amend. Unlike many systems, Checkpoints can be used in multiple routes.

Patrol Routes are also simple to create, edit and amend. As previously mentioned, Checkpoints can be used in multiple routes and each route can have up to three time control settings, being "Minimum Duration", Maximum Duration" and "Late Period".

Although the use of these settings is not mandatory, if used they clearly highlight whether patrols have been completed too quickly, within acceptable parameters, too slowly or were not fully completed.

With the addition of our optional "Route Scheduling" module, patrols may be scheduled to start at specific times or within time periods. Due to the fact that many sites require a set number of patrols to be performed within predefined periods of time, the GUARDIAN Route Scheduling module provides the ability to schedule multiple patrols to occur AT RANDOM TIMES within a specified time window.

GUARDIAN incorporates a "Dashboard" facility which provides an overview of how your sites are running for the chosen period - the default PERIOD being the last SEVEN days. On-screen statistics outline the number of patrols performed, expected reads versus actual reads, the number of checkpoints missed and the overall patrolling effectiveness achieved by percentage.

If unknown RFiD tags are encountered during a download, the "Tag Registration Wizard" alerts you, and if required, will guide you through the process of assigning new tags into the system. The "Tag Registration Wizard" may also be used to introduce checkpoints, guards or incidents into the system manually at any time, making system set-up very simple and quick.

DOWNLOADS:-
Every device, both station and reader is individually identified within the system and every reader downloaded automatically generates a unique download file which can be instantly reviewed.

BASIC REPORT:-
Whereas a Download Report displays ONLY the information downloaded from a specific reader, the Basic Information Report allows data for a selected period of time to be produced. The report can include ALL data or data filtered by specific checkpoints and/or readers. Both DOWNLOAD and BASIC reports show ONLY reads taken and DO NOT show checkpoints which have been missed from patrols (See PATROL SUMMARY and PATROL INFORMATION reports for missed checkpoints information). All GUARDIAN reports may be output to printer, PDF, e-mail, clipboard, Excel, CSV or HTML.

PATROL REPORT:-
Every patrol is listed chronologically, allowing hit/missed/early/late checkpoints to be easily identified. When viewed on screen, each checkpoint status is COLOUR CODED (See Key Below) allowing errors or issues to be easily and immediately spotted. The patrolling officer is also identified along with any incidents logged against the checkpoint. A multitude of filter and sort options are available allowing precise reports to be easily produced.

PATROL SUMMARY REPORT:-
Each time a patrol is started, GUARDIAN generates a unique Patrol Summary line. When viewed on screen, each summary line is COLOUR CODED (See Key Below) and provides clear and concise information relating to each individual patrol. A multitude of filter and sort options are available allowing precise reports to be easily produced.
--- Click HERE to view a Patrol Summary Report ---

Information provided for each summary includes:-
  • The route patrolled
  • The guard who performed the patrol (if identified)
  • The time and date that the patrol began, ended and total duration
  • How many checkpoints were expected, how many were hit and missed
  • Overall percentage of checkpoints hit and missed
  • The number of incidents logged against the patrol
  • The overall result for the patrol (colour-coded), being "OK" (Green), "Early" (Amber), "Late" (White) or "Incomplete" (Pink).
PLEASE NOTE: If using our optional "Route Scheduling" module, scheduled patrols which are NOT performed will be shown as "MISSED" and highlighted in RED.
Double clicking on any patrol summary opens up the report for the individual patrol providing full details of the checkpoints Hit/Missed/Hit Late.

PATROL SUMMARY STATISTICS REPORT:-
The PATROL and PATROL SUMMARY reports detailed above display patrol information in two distinctly different ways, however the requirement often exists to produce a simple but detailed report which combines both formats. The criteria-based PATROL SUMMARY STATISTICS REPORT provides the solution and includes both activity totals and percentages achieved at the base of the report.

Patrol Management System software (PMS)

Designed to work on industry standard Windows-based operating systems, PMS is comprehensive yet simplicity itself to use.

Key feature examples are:-

  • Intelligently Designed for Easy, Fool-Proof Operation.
Automatically completes tasks such as communicating with readers, time clock adjustment, data upload, data download, patrol data verification and exception handling. Depending on the user's familiarity with PC's, PMS is intuitive and can be used with very little training.
  • Comprehensive and Concise Reporting.
Easy production of reports showing guard, checkpoint, missed checkpoint and event activity. Reports can be filtered on any or all of the above and are available in display, print, e-mail and PDF format.
  • Automatic Verification System.
PMS automatically performs verification tasks when it receives patrol data from all readers. This makes checkpoint status analysis such as on-time, early, late, missed checkpoints, wrong patrol order, incidents, etc. easily available. PMS also performs statistical calculations and if required can output all report data for further processing by external third party software packages.
  • Secure Data Storage and Backup
Both the program itself and all stored data are encrypted and cannot be altered. For even greater back-up security, each guard patrol reader can store over 30,000 records even without battery power and these records are available for re-upload in the event of PC hardware failure.
  • High Security Data Transfer
Remote transfer of data is accomplished through proprietary protocols rather than standard file transfer methods, making it unnecessary to open up sharing rights between the computers involved. This makes the data transfer process safe from data theft and the computers involved safe from virus infections.
  • Data Integrity
Data is encrypted and verified both during transmission and storage, making it safe from unauthorised modification and ensuring integrity. In addition to the automatic database verification and backup that the software performs on a daily basis, PMS also prompts the user to perform optional monthly data backup and archiving.
